Jablonski, Sister M. Pancratius
An oral history of Sister Pancratius Jablonski, a Sister of Charity of Seton Hill from 1919 until 2001. The interview was conducted by Sister Marie Corona Miller on February 21 and 22, 1988.
Sister Pancratius Jabolonski - born Agnes Ann Jablonski on January 23, 1901 - entered the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill in March of 1919. Her biological sister, Sister Marie Stephen Jablonski, entered two months later. She received a bachelor's degree in church music from Manhattanville College of the Sacred Heart in 1949. She taught at Cathedral School in Altoona from 1943-1944, at St. Philip School in Crafton from 1944-1948 and 1953-1954, and at Sacred Heart Elementary School in Pittsburgh from 1948-1953. She volunteered her time at St. Anselm Parish in Pittsburgh from 1954-1985, conducting parish visits and offering her musical talent. Sister Pancratius died on May 23, 2001.
